Oh, now, this one reminds me of childhood fantasies about toys coming alive. My husband has had those miniatures you are speaking of. When I first met him, he was into D&D. I guess they are packed away now.

I am also reminded a bit of Gulliver's Travels, Book I--the Lilliputians, you know.

I remember being afraid of my dolls when I was little. Sometimes it seemed as if they were staring back at me.

My office at home is so packed full of miniatures & toys, if they all came to life, they would probably just kick my out for lack of room... I never even thought of Gulliver's Travels when i wrote it, good catch.

I'm not sure why that one made me giggle! Maybe it's just hard for me to take zombies seriously. However, if I were to see one in that attitude, I'd probably be scared.

Humor was intended, I was trying to capture the thoughtlessness and helplessness of being a zombie,like with the Walking Dead, can't stop watching the show, even though they are just in the same situation as with the very first episode with no end in sight...
