Magical Halloween
I've always felt Halloween and magic went hand-in-hand. One of my favorite memories was when I took my lil sister to see an afternoon magic show on Halloween. In fact, thanks to Harry Houdini, who died on the very day, October 31st is considered National Magic Day. I thought it would be cool to have a thread where we could post videos of above average or unusual performances. I'll start with the one below.
South-Korean Illusionist Jaehoon Lim
The Humane Society and PETA would probably be all over him if he performed here in the States.

Re: Magical Halloween
Here's an illusion I'd like to learn how to do. Maybe incorporate it into a Halloween costume.
Another version...

That's a very neat illusion. After I watched the first one, I watched a second video that showed how it was done (link comes up when you watch the first one).
The second video you posted had several actors in it I recognized form the old soap Passions, which I used to enjoy.

I was once lucky enough to get into the Magic Castle in Hollywood due to knowing someone who was related to one of the magicians there. It was a magical experience and that place has a very haunted house air to it!

if I had to guess, he has a string attached to his collar button and then to the back/front of the card, the card is heavier then a normal card and he's basically spinning it around on that string. And it looks very cool

Re: Magical Halloween
That's what i thought until I saw it go around his body. The only way it would work in that case is if the string were attached to something above his head. Also the way he moves it from hand to hand would mean he had to have another string attached to each one, and again, those strings would have to go all the way around him making it hard for him to move his arms around. Unless he has some kind of quick release system to hold the strings?

Magnets! I just watched again and it looks like he has something under his shirt. If he can somehow be putting up a magnetic field, and has the card made out of e ferrous material?

If you figure it out let us all know, that is too cool.

The secrets to Houdini's greatest illusions. Don't read it if you want to keep the magic alive.

Has to be digital effects! Has to be. Otherwise I have no explanation and he's taking magic tricks to a whole new level.
