Although I heard we don't get very many, but at least I'll be here just in case.

Like I say, don't let the dress fool ya! LOL!MauEvig wrote:That's awesome Dutchess! I have to admit, your costumes are pretty convincing. I actually thought you were a woman until I read your signature. lol.
Yep! And people thought I was a woman from the name "Duchess" and my female attire!MauEvig wrote:Great costume!
The funny part though is I think people thought I was a guy when I first started posting on here back when I posted under "DemonSlayerMau."
Still waiting for a report and pictures.Spookymufu wrote:Gearing up for Scare LA makes me happy!!
Heheheh. "He said, 'gala'. "Spookymufu wrote:I had fun at Scare LA, all in all it was a good time, but, I was not really interested in the arts and crafts stuff, not interested in most of the pictures and painting people had to sell, the jewelry was cool, the Tee shirts were neat and I would have liked to buy a few but passed for other items. I enjoyed the props and would have liked to have seen more booths with props, foggers, fog systems, lighting and so on and less art "gallery's" with prints and paintings for sale. I was a little disappointed with the show floor, while I enjoyed a lot of it, I also had no interest in a lot of it. I really enjoyed the displays on the 2nd and 7th floor, the graveyard and the theater display outside the elevators were very cool.
The classes I attended were well done, pretty organized and well presented, I liked that they gave the scare students priority, that was cool.
I was VERY disappointed in the Gala, I thought the costume ball at Haunt X was far superior to the Scare LA gala. I did however meet some great people and made a few friends and got to see some past friends. My wife and I came in 3rd in the costume contestI was the Haunted Mansion graveyard caretaker and she was the maid from the movie (Emma)
I'm getting pics together, gotta sift through and pick out the good ones
