Re: Best of Comic-Con
The schedule for this year has been released...
I'd love to attend the Walking Dead and Sleepy Hollow panels. Zombie Myths and Misconceptions would be interesting too. Maybe could get my copy of World War Z signed.
I think they should start airing some of the panels on the web so those of us who can't get tickets can still get in on some of the fun. Would also be handy for those who attend but can't get in the rooms. There's always freebies and world premieres for those who attend so the trip would still be worth it. I've been trying to win tickets but the odds of winning the lottery is probably better.

Re: Best of Comic-Con
Some idiot got tired of waiting for the zombie walkers and ran some people down. A bunch of the walkers chased him down and blocked him till the cops arrived. Maybe now they'll get smart and start shutting the streets down in the Gaslamp Quarter, at least on Saturday. Fifth Avenue was so crowded I could barely walk down the sidewalk.
I have a great idea for next year's walk, assuming this incident doesn't bring an end to it. I want to get 12 people together and dress each of us up as one of the Doctors, zombified. Maybe drag a bloodied TARDIS behind us on a cart?

Bummer. October's zombie walk and next year's Comic-Con walk have been cancelled. Only takes one impatient jerk to ruin a fun event.

Female Joker would look cool. I think reverse gender cosplay can get very creative...
Of course, sometimes it can be bad... very bad...

Re: Best of Comic-Con
You fit right in with the comic-con crowd Kolchak. You live in a fantasy world.
Bad news for our city today. The convention center expansion has been struck down. Likely means next year will be the last for the original comic-con in San Diego. Anaheim and Las Vegas has been courting. I hope it at least stays on the cool coast.

Re: Best of Comic-Con
That's one way to get tickets. I miss the days when you could walk up to the front and buy them, now you have to plan 9 months in advance. Stupid Hollywood! I'm gonna go to the Gaslamp and hang out tomorrow though. Plenty going on outside.Andybev01, in another thread, wrote:My nieces husband and co-creators, are showing their new G-novel at CC; 'Junior Braves of the Apocalypse'.
Did you hear about the guy who walked from San Francisco to San Diego? In Stormtrooper gear? He did it to honor his recently deceased wife.
