Little Halloween Reminder
Hi Folks:
Friday June 13th, as you know, is "Little Halloween," and I am going to really do up that day with horror movies, either at the Harvest Moon Drive-In, or through my DVd player.
I'm even going to grill up some beer boiled bratwursts, and load them with sauerkraut, raw onion and Dijon mustard.

Sounds like a great plan!
Unfortunately I work every Friday, I just hope it won't be filled with bad luck.
I'll have to try those brats sometime though.

Re: Little Halloween Reminder
Well when you get home from work, you can pop in your favorite horror DVD and make a night of it. Lucky for me I'm retiring as of the 30th of May (The 29th is my last day) so I am going to have some time on my hands.
I decided that the entire Summer season is going to be for leisure. I will probably look for another job to supplement my pension come September, but Jun, July and August are going to be motorcycles, fireworks, barbecue and haunted and even not so haunted road trips.

Have fun, Mike! Our church is planning an outing to a Nashville Sounds baseball game that Friday the 13th, so I do not expect to be watching horror films that evening.

I hope you have a good time at the game. Perhaps you can pop in a DVD when you get home.

I hope your team wins. The main reason why I'm looking forward to 'Little Halloween' so much this time around, though, is because I am not going to have any place that I have to be. I will be retired, and have plenty of time for horror movies, a special "Little Halloween" meal and a fake jack o'lantern or two.

That image is really cool Nevermore, where did you find it?
I hope it doesn't rain then! It's been rather iffy these past few nights.
I'm afraid I won't be able to do much for this Friday the 13th. I'm working night shift, and because I have to cover for a guy at work on Saturday since he can't make it in this week (he works 3 jobs...and I have no idea how he does it!) I probably going to be working a good chunk of the following day starting in the morning.
But if there is a full moon, I'll have to have my camera ready!

Depending on the outcome of the game, perhaps you will?Murfreesboro wrote:Have fun, Mike! Our church is planning an outing to a Nashville Sounds baseball game that Friday the 13th, so I do not expect to be watching horror films that evening.

I'm just hoping it doesn't rain. We have been having a lot of rain lately. I want to see that full moon!
I told my husband about "Little Halloween." He said maybe, if we get home early enough, we can watch a scary movie that night.

Rain? That's the wet stuff that falls from the sky, isn't it? I've heard of that. Saw it on TV once I think. Can we have some?
Getting all my chores done today so I don't run into any bad luck or werewolves tomorrow.
