New Halloween Friend
You guys will love this story:
Here I am in the Hallmark store, buying a birthday card. They have some Halloween goodies on display. There is another woman checking out said goodies. We start chatting...
She says, "If I bring home one more Halloween thing, my husband's gonna divorce me."
Hooch says, "Me, too!"
She says, "He took away my charge card."
Hooch says, "Me, too!"
She says, "I can't wait for Halloween, it's my favorite holiday!"
Hooch says, "Meee Toooo!!!"
So we talk for 30min (no kidding) about our love of Halloween, her decorations, my decorations, her parties, my parties, her costumes, my costumes, we both buy a bunch of Halloween cards, walk out together to the parking lot so that she can see the Magic Pumpkin, (she was suitably impressed...she says that the Pumpkin trumps every Halloween accessory that SHE owns! ), we exchange names and emails (turns out she is a friend of one of my coworkers at the hospital), and when I get home, I realize I forgot to buy the birthday card!!!!!

That is a great story. But wouldn't it also be the great beginning to a horror story???
"Death Stalks the Hallmark!"
Just when you think it's safe to shop for Shoebox cards....an innocent conversation over Halloween nick-knacks and brick-a-brack leads to a date...with murder! Little did she know the casual friend made that day would turn into a date with the dark side!
Reeee---reeee---reeeeee!!! (I don't know how to type the Psycho sound effect )
