Candy corn is disgusting no matter original, the darker ones or the pumpkin shaped ones. doesn't matter eaten whole or in layers. As for brand I know my Mom get's the Brach's and still gross. Sorry people I just don't like it.

As for Pringle duck beaks I've never actually done that oddly enough...perhaps I need to pick some up.

I'm the same way with fruit and veggies. I can see an early grave in my future cause of it but oh well, at least I don't have to puke my guts out because of the stuff.

I got a cool skeleton arm with a jointed wrist and rags twisted around on it at Michaels. After I got it though the hand came off. It was held together by a screw in a metal hole. The problem is that the hole is big enough for the screw to come out if it's in a certain angle. I hope it's fixable because it was one of my favorite things I got on my shopping spree.

I can't believe there's someone here who actualy doesn't like candy corn. I love it. It's part of my Halloween tradition, and my local grocery store is already putting it out for sale. They actualy have Affy Tapple3s, too.

Sorry to disapoint Mike...btw did you mean taffy apples? I've never heard of apples with taffy. Caramel sure, candy sure but never taffy. That unlike candy corn sounds fantastic.

Believe it or not, a whole majority doesn't like candy corn.

We are having a festival this weekend & I'm hoping to find some unusual Halloween stuff there, I can't wait, it's suppose to be in the 70's all this weekend, I bet we will have record setting amount of people coming to it!! (it's a huge event around 1500 venders) :bounce:
Did you have any luck at the festival, Witchy?

Weighing in on the great candy corn debate, my favorite is Indian corn. People tell me the only difference is coloring, but I still say they taste different. My favorite company was Hickory Harvest, but I haven't seen them put out any Halloween candy for the last few years. :( I also really like the mallow pumpkins. One year I was staying with my mom, helping her after surgery around Halloween. I picked up a bag of mixed Indian corn and mallow pumpkins and when I was out my mom picked out all the Indian corn and left the mallow pumpkins 'cause she didn't like them.

But I feel you, DD. A friend of mine doesn't like candy corn/mallow pumpkins either. I used to put out a mixture of Indian corn, mallow pumpkins, and Halloween M&M's and she would pick out all the M&M's. Somebody's always picking out something. LOL.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.
