Those are freakin' cool!!!

I guess my wish list is to do a haunt. We haven't yet. The closest has been a cemetery in the front yard. We always choose a generic theme and run with it. I love all the animatronics (is that a word?) I think if I had the talent I would do a haunted house with the theme of the Haunted Mansion with the singing busts.

Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

ME TOO. I'm the resident "Zombie nerd" around here, and I'm ready.

I would like to come up with an idea for an absolutely fabulous costume that would definitely win a prize!

Here's my Halloween wish list.

1. A 200 or even a 300 year old haunted mansion
2. To have at least one paranormal experience at a haunted place, and to get it photographed
3. A visit to the grave of some one who was rumored to be a vampire
4. To attend a "Dark Shadows" Halloween party
5. An October motorcycle tour of Salem Mass and Sleepy Hallow
6. A new "Dark Shadows" tv series that takes up where the original left off.
7. To see a real UFO, and maybe even to see an space alien
8. A visit to Bachelors Grove at the stroke of midnight.

If I think of any more, I'll post them.

This is the black cat I'm considering for my witch costume this year. He's based on the black cat from the movie Coraline.

And this is the witch I'm hoping to add this year.

And of course, wishing everybody has the best Halloween ever!
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

That's a cute costume. However I could never understand how black cats got associated with witches and Halloween. To me, all cats, even the lions and tigers, seem kind of cute and cuddly.

I would love to be a hostess on TV presenting horror shows, sort of like Zaherly and Vampira!

NeverMore, a cat's "Meow" is very much like a dog's bark. It can be a greeting, it can be a sign of annoyance, it could mean the cat's unhappy about something, or it can even be a sign of agression. It al depends on the tone of the "meow." A dog's bark is the same thing. The dog can bark to greet you, the dog can bark when he needs to go out for a bathroom break or he's hungry, and it can also be a warning bark to all strangers, human and animal alike, not to tresspass on his terf.
