Well, TOMORROW is the day. Friday January 13th, and there is a chance, though a slight one, that we might get a snow day at my work place. There's a Winter Storm Warning in effect for the entire Chicago, and Joliet area, and my local weather people are predicting the same. We could get over 3 inches, and that means that the college where I work could be closed. I won't complain if that happens, but I will have to spend part of my "Little Halloween" shoveling snow so I can get to a grocery store to buy my hot dogs and a couple bundles of fire wood.

Of course, going out to a movie will be out of the question, but there will be the rest of the weekend to do that.

My sister and I will be rewatching the Underworld movies to get ready for the new one. Not sure what we are going to do for dinner. I'm sure it will be something fun though :)

Well, the roads are a lot better then they were last night, so I may go and see "The Devil Inside" on my way home from work, and then I am going to settle in with a plastic jack o'lantern and a few horror movies on DVD. "Friday the 13th" (original) is going to be in the line-up. For Friday April 13th, I am going to make "Friday the 13th Part 2" as part of my line up, and then on Friday July 13th, Part 3 will be in the line-up.

OF course, in July, I also treat myself to a Halloween themed Birthday party on the 24th, and I screen "IT's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," but this year I may screenit on July 13th in addition.

Well.... happy lil' Halloween.

I just heated up some manicotti, popped the top on a Pyramid Apricot Ale, pulled out my copy of Trick 'r Treat, and pulled out my last remaining pumpkin from last Hallow's Eve. I thought about carving it but I'm curious to see how long it lasts.

I may watch Hocus Pocus a little later cuz I only saw it a hundred times or so in October.

Have a scary night y'all!

Well, my plans were changed by the weather. We had a snow day, which means both my kids (the younger two still at home) and my husband (a teacher) were at home, so I didn't get to watch the horror movie I wanted to. However, I did light a couple of Halloween candles to mark the occasion.

I was originaly planning on seeing "The Devil Within" on Friday, but I had problems with the weather so I decided to just do my DVDs and plastic jack o'lantern right away instead of going to the movie on my way home from work. As it turns out, I did see "The Devil Within" on Saturday, and it was a total waist of time and money. Boring, slow moving, and poorly conceived.

I did roast some weenies in the fireplace, however. I also had a GREAT "Little Halloween." Can't wait to April.
