Most grotesque and gory movie?

Post by killem2 » Tue Oct 18, 2011 5:05 pm

Just curious what is the most graphic, goriest, disgusting horror movie you've ever seen is.

For me, its Cannibal Holocaust. Hoping there are other recommendations to see :) I have a Halloween movie night coming up soon.

Well, if we're talking about comically over-the-top gore, I don't think anything beats Peter Jackson's Dead Alive. But more along the lines of Cannibal Holocaust, I think the most extreme movie I've seen is Martyrs. That film showed me that even though I've been a horror fan for as long as I can remember, I definitely have limitations. That was just way too sadistic for me. That's why I'll be staying far far away from A Serbian Film and perhaps Human Centipede 2 as well (from what I've heard).

two thumbs way up for the devil's rejects and also to bill moseley and sid haig who give chillingly realistic performances in it

i love this movie many memorable scenes but the grand finale is classic
