I allways have a real jack o'lantern through the month of October. I was planning on carving my first on the 1st, but I am going to get a coupe of extra large ones for the 'big day.'

Re: Tomorrow 1'st of September
I wish I would have a thousand pounds pumpkin on my own front yard! I mean, a huge pumpkin! Anyone seen on TV about 1000 pounds pumpkins?

Occasionally.
One year here in Murfreesboro, one of the people on Main Street had a huge, I mean, huge, jack-o-lantern. I thought it was fake until I saw it up close. I overheard someone ask the owner where he'd gotten it, and he said, New York. I tried to imagine carting a thing that size all the way across the country! I bet it had been hundreds of pounds, at least.

I've only ever seen huge pumpkins on the TV, never in real life!
Perhaps i'll grow one next year!
