I can hear the wicked winds whistling.
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.

Nice chilly night here in South West England last night.

It won't be long, it'll come around so quick!

I'm dying to carve & light a Jack O'Lantern!

We're still having 100 degree days in Tennessee. :( Supposedly we'll get a cool-down starting Monday. We are heading into Labor Day weekend in the US, which is the unofficial end of summer. Most people have a three-day weekend, and many will be swimming & grilling. Unfortunately, there is a storm brewing down on the Gulf Coast, so anyone who wanted a last beach getaway will have to look elsewhere.

My family will be at a high-school football game tonight. My husband works at the school, daughter just started as a freshman, and son, a senior, plays in the band. We did this last Friday night, too, and enjoyed it, so I hope we have fun again tonight.

We're having another heat wave here in Illinois, too, but it's supposed to be back in the mid 70s by Sunday. I hope that prediction happens if for no other reason, to give me a break from the air conditioning bills.

Last night it hit me how close we are to Halloween. I listened to Halloween music all night and watched some horror movies... I haven't done that in a while. I sure as hell hope it cools down before then, it's too damn hot out here. We hit 109 degrees a few days ago, and we've just now broken the two month long 100 degree weather cycle we usually get during summer.

Hey, send some'a that weather our way, Spooky. It's dry as a bone out here.

I'm watching "Dark Shadows' video tapes. Right now I'm at the episode where Victoria Winters left the series for good. At any rate, the wearwolf is going strong, and the ghost of Quentin Colllins is keeping the kids busy.

Al Gore is running around town screaming "I TOLD YA SO!".
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

.

It sure looks like the weather is going to be
miserable here next couple days. Who ever
heard of clouds in San Diego at this time of
year? It may be time to move to a more
comfortable climate.
