Halloween decorations will begin showing up in stores by late July or early August, so I don't think it's too early to start thinking about it.

Even now, there are some stores that sell last year's Halloween inventory at a cut rate price in order to clear them out.

All I know is that by the end of July I'll begin searching Big Lots, The Dollar Tree, and a few other places for the first signs of Halloween decorations. It is in the nineties outsides right now, though. That kind of puts a damper on my growing Halloween spirit.

Yes, that's right! :D Don't forget The Party City has plenty of Halloween costumes, masks and everything! ;)

By the way, I really do like your avatar.

Like I said, a lot of stores, including our local drug store will have Halloween, and in some rare instances, Christmas items on sale really cheap on "clearance sales." Our college book store is moving to a new building on campus, so they will soon be having a major clearance sale of all holiday items. That includes, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter.

I'm sure everyone's heard of this place but the Halloween Outlet in Worcester, MA is open all year round. I haven't made a sojourn up there yet (I'm in PA) but I ordered their catalog and they have really neat stuff. Especially if you're into doing your own haunts. I always wanted to run a year-round haunt and change it according to the season.

Like i said, my Halloween budget is going to be a bit strained this year due in large part to having purchased a motorcycle, but I would love to visit your neck of the woods, Jade, or any palce else that has a Halloween store opened year round.

I enjoy all the seasons & holidays in turn. This time of year (spring into early summer) is probably when my thoughts are farthest from Halloween. But by the end of the summer, when I am completely worn down by the intense heat we get in the South, I am longing for autumn and all it brings--including Halloween. :D

The weather finally turned into something spring-like here, so my thoughts have turned to Independence Day and such.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I am very much lookind forward to the 4th of July and a whole Summer time fullof motorcycling fun. In fact, I am going to the Warren Dunes in Michigan, and a couple of 'haunted road trips' on the side when I go on Vacation this Summer.
