Family Feud?

Post by iHaunt » Sun Dec 12, 2010 12:53 am

Do you have any problem with your own family? Close friends? Neighbors?

Well, I have a major problem with my only family is..... mother, my step brother, my step sister, and other non-relatives... :?
No problem with my best friends, others, etc.

My grandpa told me it's time to make everyone go, go away away far from here! I do agree with him, but I adviced him not to let anyone else into my house anymore at all period. He did agree with me. :D

iHaunt has a point, though. My late brother had a lot of problems with his father in-law. It was a basic personality conflict, but the father inlaw was also a very self-absorbed, pushy guy who had to have everything his way, even if it was none of his business.

I've been haveins some issues with one of my older brothers lately, but it's nothing that can't be resolved. What I worry about is when a problem between two of my blood siblings turns into a major rift in the family, like it did with my two sisters. They haven't spoken to each other since March of 1997. It's sad, really, but what can one do? My older sister moved down to St. Petersberg Florida, and my younger sister still lives in good-ole arm pit New Lenox, Ill.

I have a feeling that when my mom passes away me and my brothers will drift so far apart we never even hear about each other again. As it is now, the only way I know about whats going on with either of them is because my mom will tell me whats going on since she talks to them often or drives up to see them. My mom lives in S. California, my brothers live in Utah and of course I'm in S. Texas. So in a way my mom is the glue and I think once she's gone I wont know whats going on with them. I dont really mind too much tho as I dont really care to talk to either of them, I mean, They are both 12 and 13yrs older then me and I have nothing in common with either of them and I dont particularly care for either of their wives or kids, so no big deal really. I dunno, maybe my sister will step into that role when my mom is gone and she'll give me updates as to what they are doing, my sis and I are still close even those she's in California near my mom....

Absence makes the heart grow fonder and familiarity breeds contempt.

You can't win.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I really don't like my aunt, because she's a bitter, twisted old crone that ruined her daughters life. But I only see her once a year so whats the point in fighting? Maybe someday I'll get plastered at a family event and punch her out..
