I've found a couple of websites that list supposed haunted places in Ohio, but does anyone know if there are any active places in N.E. Ohio?

Depends on what you mean by "active". There are tons of places in Ohio that claim to have true paranormal activity.

I'm from N.E Ohio too. you could goto Zombie Land : p
I've never been their but there is said to be tons of activity, like semis that follow you, and the "green man" as well as crybaby bridge and other stories. You'll have to look it up i think they'll give you directions online.

Read 'Haunted Ohio'.
Mansfield is a good place to take a look at, creepy, but cool.

There are a few places that are pretty unique and active in NE Ohio, Mansfield Reformatory of Course is a place you should check out, they do offer over night ghost hunts or tours if that is what you are looking for. If you can make it to MIlan, Ohio, the local Cemetery is home to Abbotts Tomb and is pretty active, in fact I think the whole cemetery is active.
More info on Abbotts tomb
