That's an interesting find. I don't have time to watch all of them, but I did click on the Scottish castle and watched it for a while.

I read a book a couple of years back called Haunted Mississippi (my home state). There was a chapter about an abandoned plantation home that a family bought for a song because it was in such bad condition.
They lived in it and restored it gradually over a period of twenty or thirty years. Now it is a showplace, but of course, they believe it has ghosts, hence its inclusion in the book I was reading.

I'm just saying, if a group of people is dedicated enough, they can take over properties like this and bring them back.
