'Prosti-tots'.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I don't see overtly sexy costumes on the street around here. I have occasionally seen them at adult parties for 20 or 30 something's, where they belong, if anywhere. It was never my style, but I am not offended by them in the right context, i.e. , indoor, private adult parties.

I don't particularly like them myself, especially since it promotes a certain stereotype of women. I hate how a lot of women's costumes are slutty looking. When I do buy costumes I try to get something more modest. It bothers me that the men's costumes fit that criteria but not the lady's.

Well, you are right, but I think some young women actually enjoy being a little risque at Halloween. Nobody makes them buy the provocative costumes. I can't imagine that most guys want their girls flaunting themselves before other men. Unless these costumes are being purchased by couples for private amusement, I think most of them are probably bought by young single women who enjoy the attention they invite.
