NEW HAUNT AND CAREER

A ladyfriend of mine is going to take over a small tour company here in New Orleans and has asked my if I would like to do some walking tours. She said I had the personality to do such so I am definitely will consider.
Being semi retired I have always wanted to do something in retirement that would be both fun and put extra income in my pockets.
The areas I would be best at would be the haunted tours and the cemetery tours. Would have to do a little extra boning up but that's fine with me. I love to read and do research..

I have just joined the area group called Save Our Cemeteries and have volunteered for a project on February 25 to work at one of our historic cemeteries here in New Orleans to help clean and paint.
Looking forward to this as well as possibly conducting walking tours at some of our local cemeteries.
Should be exciting!

Wonderful!
Both my boys are Eagle Scouts. Their own Eagle projects did not involve cemeteries, but some others we know have done this--cleaning up older cemeteries in the area. We have a historic one around here, too, which is about as old as the town. Lots of ghost stories about that one!
I have seen the New Orleans cemeteries form a distance only, but I know they are one-of-a kind. Very, very interesting.

Cool, I did one of those Ghost Tours in NO, a couple years ago. It was a lot of fun.

i AM GOING TO SIGN UP FOR THE TOUR GUIDE COURSE COME THIS MARCH.
ONCE I DO THAT I CAN WORK WITH MY FRIEND AND ALSO DO VOLUNTEER WORK FOR THE CABILDO.
I WOULD HOPE AT TIMES I COULD WEAR A COSTUME.
I REALLY ENJOYED BEING ONE OF THE "GHOSTS" ON THE GHOSTLY GALAVANT AT HALLOWEEN SPONSORED BY THE HISTORIC CABILDO.
WAS THE MARQUIS DE VEAUTRIEL FOR THE TOUR AND THE VAMPIRE LESTAT FOR THE COSTUME PARTY.
HOPE TO BE ONE OF MY LADY CHARACTERS FOR THE PARTY NEXT YEAR. WEARING A DRESS IS A LOT OF FUN AS WELL!
GOT THE MAKEUP DOWN. HAVE TO PRACTICE MY WALK AND CURTSY
