My little black cat is a boy named Collins after the centerpiece family of the 60's soap Gothic Dark Shadows. He is great. I'm a softy to the young and vulnerable. So this is my cat posting thread.
Right now it's funny. He is on my bed practicing movement. This is including the crouch down. The pounce. Tumbling then recovering to his feet. And leaping into the air facing one direction and landing facing opposie direction. He's a complete blast. And he's going to be a heart breaker to the lady cats when he grows up. His eyes are so pretty. Love the little fella. It makes it worth it when he wakes me up in the middle of the night to play fight.

My little black cat.
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.

Re: My little black cat.
I have an affinity for both cats and dogs. I raised two Irish Setters and several house cats back in 'the day.' The very first cat we got when I was a kid was a stray kitten who befriended first my younger sister and then me. We named her Termites because she clawed the wood work in the basement, and it looked like it was infested with insects of her name sake. While she was alive, Termites had 3 litters. Her first litter came along just on time for the Christmas season. On "tree trimming" day, the kittens were just starting to learn how to climb. The tree was among the most beautiful we ever had on the day it was put up and trimed. By Christmas Eve, it was the rattyest looking, baren, most reciculous looking thing one would ever lay eyes on. Charlie Brown actualy did better. The kittens made that tree their home, and we had more broken ornaments that year then any other. Still, it was such a cute scene. I was screening some of my dad's old 16mm movies of that Christmas tree.
