Went to the grocery store, and picked up a couple boxes of Franken Berry, Count Chocula, and Boo Berry along with the Halloween edition of Capt Crunch. I love these cereals, and brings me a nice reminder that my favorite holiday, is just right around the corner!

When Commercialism can tug on you Nostalgia strings, that's the magic of Halloween. Well a part of it anyways. I ALWAYS loved the Halloween time commercials.

Again, that's my 'guilty pleasure.' Capn Crunch, Frankenberry and Count Chocula are my favs. I never tried Boo Berry. I also remember Quisp and Quake, Honey Combs, Cocl Crispies, Coco Puffs, Lucky Charms and a whole host of others, BUT Count Chocula and Frankenberry are by far my favs, Halloween or no Halloween.

I'm close to taking hostages if I can't find Count Chocula pretty soon. Publix, Walmart and Kroger don't seem to be carrying them. I'd settle for Frakenberry, but they don't have him either! It must be some kind of conspiracy I tell you!!

VanHelsing, it seems that my local grocer only carry's Frankenberry and Count Chocula during October. The rest of the year you don't see it.

Undertaker, yes, you can still get Capn Crunch, Frankenberry, Booberry, and Count Chocula, but Quisp and Quake are a thing of the past as far as I know. At least I have not seen it at any store.

I was able to find Count Chocula, along with Frankenberry and Boo Berry in Walgreens. I'm not sure if you have Walgreens in your area, but if you do you may want to check them out.

There's a Walgreens in Morris. I'll check them out on my way home. I have a major hankering for Frankenberry and Count Chocula.

I have been watching for them myself but alas I am still without my yearly Booberry. You all may be interested to know I did see Count Chocula cereal bars though.

Actualy those cerial bars have dried milk in them. I can't stand milk. I like to eat my cerial out of the box. Sounds wierd, I know, but that's how I like it. As "finger" food.

Actually Mike while I do prefer milk I know a lot of people who prefer cereal without it. Additionally having had similar cereal bars in the past the dried milk tastes more like frosting than anything so you may end up liking it.+

I actualy tried one of those cerial bars, DemonDuck, and that milk tasted really, REALLY rancid and nasty. I'll stick with usng it as finger food.
