Zombies

Let's just go through all major monsters, shall we? Should zombies be able to run after their prey or should they be slow and lumbering? Should they have problem solving capabilities? It seems like I saw a movie a few years ago where the zombies were figuring stuff out  Should they be stupid, slow, eating machines? How does everyone like their zombies?

Old school again! I like the slow, lumbering zombies! Dawn of the Dead (the original) type and Night of the Living Dead! The new faster moving and CGI generated is not bad! They are ok the ones Ive seen! Deadman who walk have instinct! Instinct to eat! That is all a zombie is good for in my opinion! The Dawn of the Dead Zombie....welll, some did a great job, some looked amateur! But Romero gave the Zombies thier own take on how zombies should carry themselves! I liked the Zombies in Night of the Living Dead better!

I agree with undertaker. The slow moving zombies are best.

I prefer the slower moving ones too. I don't watch a lot of Zombie stuff though. I only really like some of Romero's & 'The Walking Dead.'

Zombies scare the s*** outta me! :o

Me too, that's why I'm fascinated by them.

I like to use 'The Zombie Survival Guide' for all of my zombie needs. You can get it on Kindle.

I've heard of 'The Zombie Survival Guide.' Is it a good read?

It is.

It's presented seriously, which makes it hilarious.

I have to say that, I was sticking to the slow moving zombies but I now prefer the fast moving. It's exhilirating!!! They can remain fast but dumb!

Oh oh, did I just give a description, of something else?

I haven't read the Zombie Survival Guide but I did read World War Z. Isn't by the same guy?

I'll try & take a look at it then Andy. :)

The movie adaption of World War Z has done some filming in Britain. Brad Pitt's been in Glasgow & down in Cornwall. I've never read the book myself.

I saw the Zombie Survival Guide in the store last week. There is a couple others similar! Another funny one I saw was the Zombie Yearbook! A book that looks just like a highschool year book, but just Zombies in it!

I'm not really into zombies, but they can be good for a laugh. Did any of you catch the Halloween episode of Community last year? I thought that was inspired comedy. I don't get why Community isn't winning Emmys for writing.

Zombies are a little hit and miss with me too. I think it's all the gore that just grosses me out. I love the original Night of the Living Dead and 28 Days Later (although, I didn't really consider them zombies--more like people with major rabies). I typically prefer my zombies to give me some laughs. Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland and Fido are my favorites :)
