Is it me or is everybody leaving? There seems to be fewer & fewer people posting. I miss everyone & we only have a few days till Halloween. Witchy

it's very quiet today, I was surprised there wasnt very many posts when I woke up this morning, Adrian must be working real hard or he called out sick

I don't mind really.
Like a small town in Maine from a Stephen King novel. The story only gets interesting when the 'summer people' leave town.

I check in here every day and try to post at least once.
My problem is that I keep going back and forth between getting excited about the upcoming holiday and being sad that it's almost over.

Me too, it's very depressing when it's done & over. I felt like I made a few
friends here & will truly miss them. Witchy

I beg some of you not to leave this Halloween Forums on Saturday! I will be here online this Saturday night after TOTing hours.
Well I have to work around my haunted house all day on Halloween to make sure all lights and props are going to be all right before the showdown!

You can usually find me in here during the 'off' season because it's the thing that keeps my spirits up the other 364 days of the year.

Sorry Guys,
The closer it get to Halloween, the busier I seem to get!!
2 weeks ago I had my annual Halloween party. I had somewhere around 100 people come. Lots of decorating and cleaning up to do! I hope to get my pix up soon. If I am able to post them. I seem to have trouble. I have only been able to get one pic to post...ever!!!
Last weekend we went camping. Our campground has a huge Halloween party. I won 1st place lot decorating. My daughter won 1st in costume and 3rd in pumpkin carving. My son won 1st in pumpkin carving.
Tonight we have a corn maze, school field trip to attend. Treat bags and goodies for school parties to prepare when we get home. Tomorrow is free, I think.
Saturday is, well do I even need to say it, HALLOWEEN!!!
I love this time of year. I stay busy, but it is so much fun!!!
I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am!!!

I won't be going anywhere after Saturday.
I'll still be on this board.
For awhile I'll moan about Halloween being over, but then I will start bragging about all the stuff I purchased cheaply for next season.
I'll also be trying to find a way to celebrate Halloween on both Saturday and Sunday of next year. It's going to be a job trying to figure out when to have the party since trick or treating will be on Saturday and Halloween will be on Sunday.
But no, I won't abandon this place.
