Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

I was just thinking the other day, This is an idea if it is alright with the mods and site admin. I thought instead of posting my pics saying this is my house. I always wanted to see what others thought of mine compared to other around my area. So without telling and showing my decorations in Mid October when all of mine is up and other people finish there displays. I will have a blind voting contest for the best Halloween decorations 2009. I want to see how I fare against the rest of my town so what better way than for you the Halloween Universe to decide in a blind vote!!!!! Plus if you want to do something similar go right ahead I have no problem you using this idea. Plus if its alright with mods, Admin. Wouldn't it be kind of fun to have a Halloween.com best Halloween decorations in the Exterior and interior categories, and to include everyone won't vote for there buddy's we could send the pics to you to enter the contest. I know it might be a little load too much. But I just thought it could help take this site to the next level. So whats everybody thoughts on this?

Thanks guys Glad to here a little feedback . I will probably post the pics sometime in Mid October between the 15th and 20th. And if you want to participate you can and if you want you can throw some random houses in too around your area.

Well after debating a little I think what I will do with this is I plan on putting up my Indoor decor all up on the last day of this month. I will post them if any one else wants to post them with my thread can. And then the last week of October I will have the voting set up to vote just for fun who will win Best Indoor and Outdoor 2009 Halloween winners. It doesn't cost anything or do you get anything just thought this would be a fun tradition to start this year.

Thanks I like yours too, and thanks for the comment I will try to update I think I will post a new topic named 2009 INDOOR/OUTDOOR 1st Halloween Challenge. That way it would get more looks than this one named A new Concept.

Alrighty sounds good to me, plus for some whatever reason I was just really tired today it might have been caused I worked a 12 hr shift the night before but very few leaves are turning color and man its still pretty warm. I need it slightly chilly, beautiful leaves and my decor up then I am in the mood.

i'd love to show off my decorations! i wont be able to post them til after the 24th cuz some of the funeral parlor stuff will be last minute just before the party!

I see no problem with this idea at all, and I think this is a very good idea for the site. I'll try to post some of my pictures as well. I like the way you think Halloweennut!
