Post by ParanormalLove » Sun Jul 05, 2009 4:19 pm

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. My boyfriend and i are getting married next October 30th and we are wanting to do a Fall/Halloween wedding. We both love the fall season and both are huge Halloween lovers. We want our wedding not to be out of control Halloween, and we also not want all fall leaves theme scattered everywhere. What to do for favor ideas and decorations for the reception hall as well as what the church will allow us to do. I NEED HELP if you have any ideas please post. THANK SO MUCH!

Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

I got married last Halloween, and though we did just a little more fun Halloween things at our reception, we did have just a beautiful fall wedding. My bouquet consisted of orange, and red roses, and the men wore the same colors and black tuxs. We had more of an evening wedding, so it was slightly more formal as well. Instead of using roses in a flower girls basket, use some glittery fake leaves. Go nuts, spread them on tables, put them with favors, and such. I found a lot of cool stuff at Oriental Trading in their fall party decor. Also, http://www.grandinroad.com and www.marthastewart.com/halloween has some great, and very tasteful Halloween decor/ideas. If you need any more wedding advise, just let me know...I'm actually a bridal consultant in my "every day" life...lol

I think a tall stacked white cake with beautiful delicate black spider web details would be fabulous! Nothing to bold. So fine that the grandmothers may not even notice.
