As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Still all school stuff at ours...since my wife is a teacher she's still in seventh heaven but that will change soon enough. If you go to the Target website they have several pages of items already up. Nice additions this year to their lineup but i still prefer to build or modify most of my own.

Once Target is done with school stuff, Halloween is their next big thing.

Our Target puts it all the way in the back, and it comprises probably 1/2 of the back wall of the store. It's a huge selection. Thanks for reminding me! (scuttling off to Target...)

I stopped by one Target store in my area and they had cleared out part of Back-To-School... so they're gearing up for Halloween. They did have some Halloween in the garden section of the store. I'll have to check back semi-weekly 'till it's all out. =)

I stopped by in several stores this weekend and all of them are starting to clear out the back to school stuff. I'd say the stores will be ready for Halloween by next week, but I'm sure they won't be completely decked out until late September.

I bought some decorations this weekend at Target. They were just starting to put the Halloween stuff out but the little bit of stuff they had on the shelves was AWESOME. The Target website has pages and pages of decorations if you're looking for a teaser. I have a feeling I'll be dropping a pretty penny at Target this year.

I also saw some K-Mart was starting to stock the Halloween shelves on Friday, but it was mostly costumes and a few decorations.

The K-Mart down here had everything out-- I had a hey-day buying limbs. I can't tell you how long I've been looking for a left hand (a male left hand too)! Whee!

Also bought some lights at target-- I was going to wait and buy them last year, but when I went back they were gone. I'll be visiting Target again tonight, most likely. =)

I went to Target this weekend and they've got more Halloween stuff out, but it was still right next to a shelf full of backpacks, so they're still in that weird back to school Halloween limbo.

Our local Target is moving the "back to school" stuff out and already had all the Halloween candy out and the new "Domo Halloween" signs hanging up. I loved last year's theme at Target and so far I'm not very excited about the Domo theme, but we'll see... You can see a preview of it here: http://www.target.com/b/ref=gp_se_searc ... e=15676801.

Yeah, I'm not loving the whole Domo thing either. It just isn't Halloween-y enough.

No it's not. :? And I'm not into the whole Asian cartoon characters either. Last year's theme with the three children was just so much more eye-catching and Halloween-y. Does anyone remember what it was called?

I saw the Domo character hanging in the candy isle but not in the decorations. You guys are right, it's not very spooky.

:( I am so JEALOUS! We get nothing like that over here and if we do we have to pay through the nose for it. Like something for $10 for you (should work out to about £5 for us) would cost us about £20. NO FAIR!!!

What was last years theme like?
