I don't know what's your major, but I'm majoring in Literature and at my college's library we have a bunch of old spellbooks and curses (descantece) that you can borrow. If you are a student of the University of Bucharest (any major), and you have a library permit, you can either try reading these books at the Central University Library Carol the Ist (BCU, the one near the Atheneum) or borrow them from the Letters Faculty's Library. Or I can borrow them for you, but some of them are only available at the reading hall, and can't be borrowed. If you want to look them up, I suggest you check BCU's online library catalogue, with the keyword "spells" (vraji), and in search options you select "title words". You will find quite a few books listed published between the 1850's and 1925.
Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble. (...)
'Tis now the very witching time of night,
When churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out
Contagion to this world.
