Our Halloween Town

I would build a "Halloween Town" with old victorian houses that were just begging to be decorated year round. My main Street would have old antique shops with carved wood signs that only carried halloween items or reflected the holiday. Even basic necessities would celebrate my day! (orange toothpaste for example)

We would have television that had channels dedicated to Halloween shows and movies 24 hours a day.

The weather would be 65-70 degrees day and night. It would be Autumn forever with leaves on the ground. Each night would have a full moon.....

What would you add?

Oooooh I can see the scene already - I would also add plenty of black cats and bats in the neighbourhood, maybe wolves on the outskirts (although they would be friendly wolves ;) hehe)

I would also add a huge town hall where they host a free Halloween Costume Ball every Friday night.. :D

We would also need a pumpkin patch that bloomed year round.....I LOVE PUMPKINS!!!!

Yay for a huge pumpkin patch! And most definitely it should bloom all year round - it's gotta be permanently Autumn! hehe :D

Oooh I also think that we should have a spooky graveyard on a little hill and an old fashioned candy store selling all sorts of halloween treats - candy apples, chocolate lollies, candy corn, pumpkin pie etc

Constant temperatures of 65-70 degrees don't feel like autumn to me. Where I grew up in Wisconsin, average high on Halloween is 53 degrees, and the low is 37 degrees.

I don't think the leaves would even turn fall colors if the temperatures stayed at 65-70.

I would add a good thunder and lightning storm at least once a month!!

Oh Winnie Sanderson, wouldn't it just be Fantastic! Love the thought of the Victorian Houses and Antique Shops :D

And Magickbean, You're so right!, Tones of Black Cats & Bats Everywhere, they could be our great protectors

We'd also need a Witches Academy complete with Flying Lessons and Potion Classes, oh and Cauldron Brew Parties :D ANd how about our community being blessed with all sorts of magical creatures such as flying gargoyles  Ravens the size of cars too.
And lots of spooky trees everywhere and a town centre garden complete with an old creepy looking water fountain..

What a dream it would be to start up our very own spookytown :D :D

Don't forget a few ghostly local legends and at least a couple of haunted houses.

Scarecrows in that Pumpkin patch you mentioned.

I picture our Halloween village a lot like the Disney Halloweentown movies. You know, a big lit up JOL in the center of the village green. By the way DOD, I think you should be Dean of the Witches Academy. :D I think we have enough of a variety of talents on this forum that we could have a fully functioning town, complete with hospital, state hospital (for the naysayers that wander into our town  ), legal department, beauty salon, haunt specialists...well, you all know who you are!

Law P, You are so right, I think we actually do have enough people on this site to fill all the positions that a town would need, thats so cool :D And sure I'd be honoured to be Dean of the Witches Academy :D

And instead of having buses to get from one side of the town to the other - we could have black and orange winding rollercoasters! :D
