Hello all,
Been a long time fan of this site and wanted to check in and see how everyone’s Halloween is shaping up! I hope it’s the best year yet
Any last minute Halloween movie recommendations?

Do you mean movies in theaters, or movies on DVD? If the latter, you should check Hippieluvn's Horrorthon thread. I think it's in Halloween entertainment. Lots of movies discussed there.
Personal faves of mine?
For scares and atmosphere, The Haunting (1963), The Exorcist, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Conjuring.
For comedy, Ghostbusters.
For family fun, Hocus Pocus.
ETA: check out Halloween and Horror movies.
I also enjoy DVDs of the musicals Phantom of the Opera (25th anniversary show) and Sweeney Todd (Angela Lansbury & George Hearn, early 1980s). You can find feature films of both shows, but I prefer these theatrical versions.

Any movies ya I have just been watching Friday the 13th etc, great classic slasher! I'll check out The Conjuring. Thanks for the tip about the other thread!

I'm screening "Tales from the Dark Side" presently. Yesterday it was "The Evil of Frankenstein" a Hammer production and then the old Universal classic "Son of Frankenstein." Tonight it's going to be a new acquisition titled "The Pentagram" followed by "The Mummy's Hand."

Certain TV series on DVD are good, too. I enjoy Dark Shadows, Moonlight, and Grimm.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Happy Halloween! I am checking out the Conjoring. The Mummy's Hand sounds right up my alley as well!
