OK, I usually only come by this board annually...
During the season and only post in one or two categories...
This year I've been limited in my time here compared to the past...
But even I see a significant decline in participation, so what's going on

Not really sure! I feel sad that it's just not the same. People used to have a good time here and now, it's like the inner city after the Zombie Apocalypse!! I miss everyone and the feeling of friendship. 
One by one people have faded into oblivion. I'm not here all of the time, either, but coming back after last Halloween there were hardly any posts other than from Halloween.com. Unsettling.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, I'VE BEEN A MEMBER FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS, IT WAS DIFFERENT THEN. BUT ANYWAY, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I think we just had an off year...I adore all my friends here, and hope to continue to see everyone during the "off" season!!
