Re: New member Introduction
I'm new to this forum, but definitely not new to my love for Halloween!
You can call me by my screen name on here or by my real name, which is Holly. I'm 20 years old, and I was actually due to be born on Halloween. Of course I had to be difficult and show up 2 weeks late. For some reason my mom felt that I was a "Christmas baby," hence the name "Holly." I've loved Halloween and horror since I was a child. I've had so many people tell me that I'm too old for Halloween and that I shouldn't be trick-or-treating, but I call this blasphemy.
I'm hoping to become pretty active on the forum, but I'm starting college this fall so it might be slightly difficult to keep up at times. I'll try my best though!
Now for the questions:
What is your favorite part of Halloween? - EVERYTHING! Other than the few neighborhood kids who like to terrorize the place.
Where are you from? - Southwestern PA, which is gorgeous in the fall!
What is your favorite Halloween activity? - Trick or treating, or just sitting around snacking on candy while watching horror movies.
Favorite Halloween Candy? - Hmm... Twix and Milky Ways. My mom and I will make pumpkin cookies though, and last year I used black food coloring and put Halloween sprinkles on the top of them. Little white ghosts, black bats, and orange pumpkins = Amazing.
Halloween costume? - Being dirt poor + not having the ability to sew has left me deprived of good costumes. I liked being a "gay fairy/raver" though and dressing up in rainbow/glow-in-the-dark everything. Not to mention my hair was dyed bright pink, so it was awesome under black light.
And for the record, I'm seeing a lot of Halloween/fall stuff coming out in stores recently. I'm exploding with excitement now.

Nothing wrong with being raised 'dirt poor'. It inspires creativity like nothing else does.

Re: New member Introduction
Hey everybody, another newbie here. I've been obsessed with Halloween and horror since, truly, before I can remember--three or four years old, I must have been, when I first heard the story of the Headless Horseman, or saw my first Halloween mask. Anyway, I love Halloween to death and believe that, in Heaven, we're trick-or-treating all the time.

Re: New member Introduction
Hello to my fellow enthusiasts!
I've been a forum stalker for over a year and finally decided to bite the bullet and join in the fun! I'm a college grad, recent newlywed in the Florida panhandle. We really don't have a "Fall" season here in terms of weather but I do my best to remind everyone of the spirit of Halloween.
What is your favorite part of Halloween?
Decorating
Where are you from?
Tallahassee, Florida
What is your favorite Halloween activity?
Making/Creating new props and decor items.
Favorite Halloween Candy?
Mini candy bars
Halloween costume?
MY favorite costume is probably my Queen of Hearts which is handmade and very fantastical. But I appreciate any original costume which doesn't fall into the "slutty" category!
