I have had a feeling..that's all...but
years ago (I've lived in my house for 23 years) we had lived here
for about 6 or 7 years at that point...I started feeling weird..weird..about
my bedroom. Not the whole bedroom, just the upper part of my husbands
closet area. I felt like someone was there. (in the closet, like..up on the shelf)
Weird, I know.
I knew it was a man, I knew he was about 40-45 years old, I knew he wasnt evil,
he was just THERE.
It bothered me so much, I started sleeping on the couch.
My husband ( who worked until 10-11pm at night..so I was already ready to go to
bed before he came home) asked why I kept 'falling asleep on the couch'
Not wanting to appear the idiot..I would always say..hmm...just fell asleep watching tv.

About a few months later of this happening..we were at my brothers house...somehow the conversation between my sister in law and I turned to the paranormal. She had asked if I had ever experienced anything like that. I repeated the above story, and she yelled at my husband..who was on the other side of the yard... Hey..(you)..if there was a ghost in your house..where would it be?...He replied..in the top of my closet
I about fell over

Did you ask what made him say that? Or how he came to that conclusion?

I like how casual his response seemed to be--'oh, top of my closet. no biggie'

Meanwhile, she's terrified and won't stay in there by herself

Here's a picture of it three days later.

That's so scary, Castle! Wow!
Skin all bone-china white
O you were a vampire
And I may never see the light

I would still think it could have been rats. They are not afraid to approach a living, sleeping person.

If you have a history of paranormal experiences in other places, though--who knows?

Get a house cat or two.

How 'bout the scratches, Murf? They don't look like they were done by rats.

I don't really know what to think. It's weird. I would look first for some physical explanation, though, like some kind of vermin bugging me in the night.
