I sliced it in half, then rubbed it with salt and pepper (about a half teaspoon of each). I think I sprinkled the caraway seeds on the bed underneath the roast, onto the kraut and the apples & sausage.Pumpkin_Man wrote: Murf, I'm going to crock pot a 3 pound pork loin, just as you did, only instead of doing it German style, I'm going to do it Hawiin style, with pineapple. Did you slice the roast up or leave it whole?

Then that's what I'm going to do. I am going to put it on a bed of pineapple, and rub it with sea salt and black pepper, and maybe some garlic.

Mounds and Almond Joy both have the shredded coconut just the Almond Joy has the nuts. They were one of those candies I always tried to trade off for something else.

You would have had no problem at all, getting me to trade for Mouns or Almond Joy. I LOVE both of those candy bars, and still do. Again, I don't give them out to ToTers, because they prefer the Butterfingers, Reeses or Snickers, but a Mounds or an Almond Joy in my ToT bag was a fabulous find. And my friends often just gave me all their mounds and almond joys because they hated coconut, too. Thay thought I was a space alien or something because even as a kid, I LOVED Mounds, Almond Joy, and Hershey's Dark and Semi Sweet chocolate.

Let's not get carried away here just because I don't like coconut doesn't mean I don't love semi-sweet/dark chocolate. As far as chocolate goes The darker the better.
I was always able to get rid of most of them but there always ended up being a few left over. It's good to hear you give the kids what they want. Those are the popular candies. I will admit I was one of the weird kids that didn't mind getting the little boxes of raisins. I've always loved raisins.

me too!...love the raisins. I guess I would have to go with any dark chocolate, and whoppers, for some reason! Love em! Like the way they 'collapse' in your mouth when you eat them!

Believe it or not, we all loved raisent. We use to get those little boxes of Sun Maid raisons when ever we were in the mood for them, and not just for ToT. I often stopped for a box of Sun Maids on my way to school in the morning to put in my lunch bag.

Yeah Nevermore, I hated those also... I kept wanting to like the taste of them, but I've bought them 2 years in a row and can't get into them...

I also frequently bought raisins just to snack on.
It is disappointing that the pumpkin spice kisses are not good.

I'll give you a double YUCK on the pumpkin spice Hershey's Kisses, too, but I LOVE Pumpkin Donuts, and the bakery at my local grocery store makes great ones. He puts a sour cream based frosting on them, too.

Funny enough there are some leftover Dunkin Donuts in the conference room in my office and I was able to snag a pumpkin one. And one with orange frosting and pumpkin shaped sprinkles.Pumpkin_Man wrote: I'll give you a double YUCK on the pumpkin spice Hershey's Kisses, too, but I LOVE Pumpkin Donuts, and the bakery at my local grocery store makes great ones.
