in my Target, the day after Halloween the Christmas <deleted> went up and all the Halloween stuff got pushed to the clearance isle, two days after that, it's all taken down and pushed to the back of the warehouse (backroom).

They probably smell like cinnamon. I don't want to go into a place that has an overpowering cinnamon smell...

There actually used to be a store in my town called Always Christmas :puker: . I never had a desire to go in there to see what it was all about. Yesterday I wandered into a Hallmark in search of some specific wrapping paper for a birthday gift and I ran across a Jack Skellington Christmas Tree ornament. I think I may buy it next week. It will be the one thing that I contribute to the family Christmas tree (and you know what else? It will be the coolest thing on that tree as well!) 8)
Pumpkin, from experience, stuff like that when you come across it, you have to grab it. Hope it's there when you go back. If it was that cool, I'd go back for it sooner. :P

Well I didn't get it last night because it was $15. Um, what? For a tree ornament?! Seems excessive. But at the same time, the family Christmas tree is a bit excessive. I don't think my parents have ever thrown away a Christmas ornament in their 30+ years of marriage. Fingers crossed it will still be there in a week. When I get it and put it on the tree, it will be like a breath of fresh air :)

I'd be apprehensive too, with the price tag. Can't blame ya.

Maybe because it was Hallmark? I never buy that kind of stuff so I don't know what's actually reasonable compared to what's reasonable in my mind :) I think I may shop around online to see if I can find one before I go back next week...

Back in the '90s I used to gift my self with Christopher Radko tree ornaments for my birthday (three days before Christmas). I stopped doing that when I realized I was afraid to hang those expensive things on the tree!

I've seen a Jack Skellington tree topper that I want. I've seen it in the Disney Store for £15.

I do love 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' decorations at both Halloween & Christmas! :D

A tree topper?! I WANT THAT!!!

Oh the side-eyes I would get from my family if I tried to put something like that on top of the tree...

Oh that's cool. It would be even better if the coil was green--that way the only thing people would see is Jack clinging to the top of the tree :)

Amen to that. We had so many TOT's I couldn't possibly count them all. They come in big groups a lot.

There's a permanent Halloween store in the valley here. The prices are ridiculous. One visit was all I'll be paying to that store.

Yes I agree. Green would have definitely made Jack stand out more! :D

Morticia, that's cool that you have a permanent Halloween store, but a bummer that they're very expensive. Just how ridiculous are the prices?

Obviously ridiculous enough that even a PUMPKINHEAD won't go in there!
