I looked for it but I didn't see it. That was about the only thing I was going to do for "Little Halloween" was photograph that full moon. It's a little cloudy out, but you can see the stars. At least the stars are pretty tonight, and the fire flies are out. :) I love summer nights.

But, in the Spooktacular Spirit of things, a co-worker gave me an entire bin full of Halloween decorations. :D I'll take photographs later. He has a second job at an antique store and they got a bunch of Halloween stuff there. He got first dibs on the Christmas stuff, and mentioned he knew someone who loved Halloween. So he gave me the entire bin. Some neat stuff in there like a spider web napkin holder, a coffin, some spider web things, ghosts, some scare crows, and a few black cat things as well. The only thing is it smells like moth balls. I guess I'll have to clean some of it up if I can. I'm just afraid I'll ruin the paint on some of the decorations, which look like they might have been hand made and hand painted. It's only June and I'm already wanting to decorate for Halloween! Now my car smells like moth balls. I suppose there are worse things it could smell like!

Also my boyfriend spotted a black cat that he talked to and interacted with at Mcdonalds. Right on Friday the 13th! How awesome is that?

I'll be 63 when the next Full Moon Friday the Thirteenth occurs it looks like, if I did my math right. And chances are, I'll still be decorating for Halloween and dressing up. Even at that age.

Here's a question... if you are a werewolf do you count your age in human or dog years?

That's a good question to ponder Nevermore!

Well, looks like I did get to see the full moon after all! It was beautiful! I took some pictures, and I tried to get one as it shined through the trees. My camera definitely doesn't give it justice...but that one picture presented an "orb" if you will. It could just be a dew drop and mere coincidence, or maybe...it was a ghostly orb! That would be cool.

I'll post the pictures later. :) Got work all day tomorrow, from 8AM to 8PM. It's going to be a long day.

We were outside at the ball game, and the night was gorgeous, perfect for viewing the moon! Gosh, in 2049 I'll be way up in my 90s, I think. Easier to count backward from 100 for me at that point. Maybe 94? If I'm still here. My children, who attended that game with me, promised to think of me next time they see one on Friday the 13th, LOL.

The Nashville Sounds lost badly to some team from Tacoma, Washington, but they had a terrific fireworks display anyway after the game. Apparently they do that on weekends. It was almost Fourth of July fireworks. Very cool to see them against the full moon.

Oh, and my husband and I were part of a chorus that sang the National Anthem on the ball field before the game, so that was pretty cool, too.

Hey Nevermore how are you! Its been a while! From what I found online there is this:

First, take the age of how old he was when he turned, than take how many years in human terms after, count up how many full moons hes experienced and count those as dog years (so like, each night is a year or something) add it all together, than get your face ripped off because you where to busy doin' maths and got attacked by a werewolf!

I just can't wait until next Halloween,
'Cause I've got some new ideas
that will really make them scream!
And, by God, I'm really gonna give it all my might!

Love your full moon photos, Mau! We need Mike to come on here and tell us what he thinks the "orbs" might be, since he is a professional photographer.

The full moon was beautiful on Friday and yet haunting. I love celebrating these little Halloween reminders. Though recently I have been working on a few yard Halloween projects for October so I’ve begun to listen to my Halloween music playlists.

I need to start planting pumpkins, I already have some growing last year from where I threw them away, but I have six packages of seeds I need to still plant!

I did buy some seeds for the ghostly white pumpkins but I still haven't planted them yet. Right now I don't think I'll get around to it this year. Maybe next year.

Thanks Murf! I love the moon and all her beautiful glory. Friday the Thirteenth was definitely the best time for the moon to show. I always get excited when celestial events like that take place.
