Although I went ToTing when I was younger than 8 years old, that was the age I was when I first watched 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' I loved Halloween Town & it's grown on me ever since! I just adore Halloween.

I'm also a creature of the night too!

I'm sat here typing, with my new Halloween lights on! YAY!

What do your Halloween lights look like? I have some that look kind of like purple icicle lights and another set of light up skulls that play the Halloween theme when you turn them on :)

Ghost & Pumpkins. One white ghost, then an orange pumpkin & so on. They're pretty cool. They cost me £12.99. :)

Did you get a Halloween pillar candle? I have a few of those and I think I'm going to get several more. Last year I also got a really cool LED candelabra and candle holder from Spirit.

Probably when it occurred to me that Halloween was the one time of the year that I felt normal.

I love fall, and I looked forward to back-to-school time.

My parents were married on Halloween. Not too unusual now, but it was for 1947.

I grew up in an old farmhouse, so old that it was located in town which means that the town grew up around it over a century or so.

Our house was filled with books on any topic and old furniture.
Not fussy antiques, just cool one of a kind things that weren't so precious that we kids couldn't drag them around the house and use them for play time.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

It was like my folks had a secret life.

Church going, Norman Rockwell types. Dad worked, mom stayed home and ran the home.

Conversations about spirits were not uncommon. Mom was fascinated with the idea of exorcism.

We had a Ouija board and there was always holy water around.

Yeah, it was interesting.

Jack, where did you get Halloween light from? I'd love to buy it if I want to. ;)

By the way, when I was little kid and the witch tried to give me a big kiss so I had to run away because I was so scared!

That's an interesting question. I'd say a mix of movies and shows especially Goosebumps :P(Props to anyone who remembers that show) Also the general atmosphere of Halloween, I've felt during this time of year I can be creative and dark which is what I like to do

Off of a site here in the UK called Party Delights.

Andy, that sounds really cool growing up in an old farmhouse. :)
