Well, I'll admit that there are some movies that should be remade in order to make them more in tune with today's world, but personaly I am getting tired of remakes. So many of them have absolutely nothing new to offer the story, either. In the case of monster icons like Dracula, a lot of those movies are retellings rather then remakes, but the remake of "Friday the 13th," for isntance, had no major departures from the original story at all. Just newer cars and newer music. "The Oman" was another one. The script, acting, story line was completely the same as in the original. The only difference was that it took place today instead of int he 70s, and it had newer cars and more modern guns.

Re: Salem Visitors Guide!
I'll be seeing this. From the little bit i've read about the plot, it sounds like it could be a good movie.iHaunt wrote:And, don't forget Rob Zombie's movie called "The Lords of Salem" is coming out anytime in 2012.
OctoberChill, for sure if I get to go there i'll let you all know how it went. I'm trying to get a couple of friends or family to come along.
