Maybe that explains my depression. I'm always bored.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

That very well could be a major cause of your depression, RisingDeadMan. Like I said, boredom causes you to have negative thoughts. One of the worst punishments in prison is when they put some one in Solitary Confinement. When that's done, they are given nothing to read, no tv, no radio, no books, magazines or news papers, just 23 hours a day in a 6x10 cell with nothing to do but stare at the 4 walls. About the only break in the monotony, if you can call it that, is when they get their one hour of exercise, and meal times.

Long time ago, I was almost thrown in the jail - but my lawyer argued to the judge for not putting me in jail due to my disability reasons. So, I only got 6 months probation. I remember when I was in jail for only 10 minutes, it's like 8' by 8' cell room with one small bed, a sink and a toilet. No mirror on the wall, imagine that??? Yes, it looked very boring inside there!

But, I'm not troublemaker anymore at all because I'm getting old now. I did make lots of mistakes when I was teenage boy.

I think all of us have done things we are sorry for at one time or another. I know there a lot of things in my past that I would change if I had ti to do again. That's one of the things that depresses me from time to time. But remember the old cliche about crying over spilt milk. It'a allways better to live for today, plan for the fugure, and learn from the past. Meanwhile, keep yourself busy. Especialy with January and Feburary just around the corner. Winter can be very boring, and thus very depressing. I already have a boat load of projects that I am going to be keeping myself busy with this Winter. I have a room in my house that's so full of junk that you can't even walk in it. It's just all kinds of stuff that I accumulated over the years. I plan to clean out that room and organize all my LPs, CDs, 8 track tapes, cassette tapes, open reel tapes and all other media forms that I have. Then I am going to work on transfering all of my dad's old 16mm home motion pictures to DVD to give as gifts to all my family members next Christmas (a year from now, not this comming Christmas)

I also have to retube my preamplifier, and repair one of my speaker collumns so finding the parts for those projects is going to occupy a lot of my time. Theni n March work starts picking up pace with plays to video tape, photo shoots and other major events.

It's a grind, but it keeps me too busy to get depressed.

Yes, you're right! Winter always makes me being bored! All I have to do is think work, think something to fix, think of doing the housework, etc.

But in spring and summer - none of things are boring me! :D Even, autumn is great too! But it will be always getting hot here in autumn just like summer! 8)

I had to dig out the old snow shovel, too. We didn't get any where's near 4 inches, but it was pretty darn cold. About the only things about Winter that I like is that there are no bugs, and it's not unbearable hot. I find it easier to warm up when I'm cold, then it is to cool down when I'm all sweaty and hot.

But the main problem with Winter is BOREDOM. And it's allways been that way for me, even when I was a little kid. THE worst day fo the year for me is that first day back to work or school after Christmas Vacation is over. It was like that when I was a kid, and it's like that now. I use to get so depressed when I was a kid in school and it was time to go back after Christmas Vacation. And then January and February would drag and drag and drag on until the 1st of March. There was one bright spot. February was usualy the beginning of Lent, which got me excited for Easter, and there was allways a "Charlie Brown" Valentines Day special on tv back then. But all in all, January and February are like two months of Mondays.

Some of my friends and I agreed that we do hate cold weather! We prefer warm/hot weather - but the problem is we need to keep our bodies cool in the water and drink something when we get thristy! ;)

Well actualy that's a tough call for me to make. Warm and hot weather is certainly more convenient then cold weather. Just this morning, I had to clean a shell of ice off my car again, and when I went out to get my breakfast it was as slippery as ever. The cold and snow has made travel difficult, and we've also had some major electricity issues in this town as the strong winds were blowing down power lines right and left.

In hot weather we don't have all the inconvenience. Sure, we do get a power failure once in a while when it's 98 degrees and everyone cranks up the air conditioner, but all in all, it's a lot easier to deal with. My problem is that when I am hot and sweaty, it's very hard for me to get cooled down, even with air conditioning and a fan. When I'm cold, it's a lot easier for me to warm up. Also, I can allway put more close on, but there's a limit to how much I can take off. Even if I am in the privacy of my own home, and I can get away with trapsing around naked, if the air conditioning goes out and it's a swelptering hot day, I will still suffer.

So all in all, I can't really say that I strongly prefer one to the other.

It happened to me a couple of times when the hurricane hit here, we lost the power such as TV, lights, clocks, etc. Too freaking hot!!! My girlfriend got so sweaty, even me too! We stayed outside in the swimming pool, and sleep outside too for a few days until the power was back on again.

Yes, it was tough time for us to sleep because of no air conditioner and fans, you know? We had to take a cold shower before getting into the bed! ;) Pray that we will not have another hurricane again anytime in the summer! :?

That happens frequently during inclimate weather. For some reason it was not a problem last night during all our thunder storms, but it does happen a lot.

Halloween was great! I went on a Disney Cruise and the entire ship was decorated with Halloween decorations, not scary! There was a costume contest on board and even though I didn't dress up I did enjoy seeing all the other costumes. One family dressed up as members or the Original Mickey Mouse Club...it was cute. The cruise staff had different spots on board where kids could come and trick or treat, there was definitely something for everyone. I hope to go again next year!
