What are your favorite creepy tv shows?

I have seen some old Twilight Zone series on DVD. The first episode is really creepy where this guy wakes up and is in a town with no people in it but he feels like someone is following him. "shivers"

i've always been a fan of the history channel's history mysteries- nothing can get you in the halloween mood better than watching a program on 'the real dracula.' i also love their series 'lost worlds' and 'monsterquest.'

i think my favorite halloweeny tv show is 'scariest places on earth,' which runs as a marathon on abc family usually the weekend before or of halloween. it's similar to ghosthunters, except the people hunting ghosts aren't professionals and they're forced to stay all night in a haunted historical building. the best episodes were the one at ÄŒachtice castle and the one about the white witch of the haunted voodoo plantation.

so what are your favorite tv shows that get you in the mood (the halloween mood, that is!)!

I like a lot of the same ones that you do. I love Ghost Hunters, Monsterquest, Destination Truth, all the ones on history channel and scariest places on earth. I also like monsterfest on AMC.

There is a compilation show on Disney most years that was produced in the 80's.

I don't recall the name (even though I have it on an old VHS somewhere )

but the 'host' is the talking mirror from Snow White.

That's a great one for the whole family.

anyone ever seen the movie sleepy hollow? it is my favorite halloween movie ever- also love the village, it, and hocus pocus. what about you guys?

Sleepy Hallow is my Favorite Jonny Depp movie. Tim Burton is one person who gets Halloween right!!

Hocus Pocus is one of the best Halloween movies ever made. It kills me when I read a negative review (yes, there are some) about it.

Some movies I love are put down by a lot of people. And movies I hate everyone loves. I guess I am not a good movie judge. I think one reason is a lot of movies I watch but do not pay enough attention (don't know if that is spelled right man I have to start using the bad spellers dictionary) and then the movie does not make much sense or it makes sense but I do not know a lot about the movie.

The mention of Tales from the Crypt reminded me of that TV show in the 80s called Friday the 13th about the two people trying to regain cursed objects that their uncle had sold in his antique store. Anyone remember that?
