Miss Dracula, can't say I've ever done that, but I do remember when I was a kids, my brother and I took out all the halloween decorations in July or August and used them to create a Haunted House in our basement in which we were suppose to charge other kids to attend. It didn't work out that way, no customers willing to pay. Also, I remember my grandmother and mother were furious when they found out we covered the funiture in sheets and sprinkled baby powder all over them to give the illusion of dust. WHAT A DISASTER! and what a long time it took us to clean up.

But anyway, I like your idea, it's kinda like a little pre-holiday exercise, you can prepare, test out scenarios ( what decoration you like and dislike) and come to conclusions on what you will need, for when Halloween actually get here. I think I might try that. Good going! :D
Because once you cross that bridge, my friend, the ghost is through, his power ends.

I put a couple Halloween stickers on the window after Halloween. And a few months ago I put some gravestones in my room.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

To me, Halloween is just an exciting time. I mean you get to change your self for that one night, you get to scare the <deleted> out of people and you just relax and enjoy everything before the winter holidays. For me it's a nice brake. I'm not obbsessed with Halloween but I still like it lots. I guess I strive for thrill in life. :P
