Seems like a fair enough situation you made it sound like your friends normally keep their beverages in your fridge. Though perhaps rent is in order perhaps a 6 pack of something of higher quality than coors/but light

Yes, Draculaura knows enough english to get the nuances, but I would politely avoid some of them. The perks of not being a native: people never know how much you actually understand:))
[Hint: I'm taking my official romanian-english/english-romanian transalator exam this Octomber]
Nevertheless, I'll make sure to get myself some sort of amulet in order to stay clear of any enthusiastic boogie men. :D
Well the party trick would work for sure, but the only downer is that I live in a neighbourhood full of old people. I might have a better chance at crashing a party in the student area, where the campuses are.
Well, we don't technically have Halloween, but there's an old pagan tradition about the day of the dead that only some small areas in the countryside still celebrate, with traditions and everything (fire juggling and all sorts of spooky stories and items to make the houses safe from evil spirits). Unfortunately, I live in the middle of Bucharest, so no such tradition in urban areas like mine.
I'll try to gather a bunch of people from college and get together a party. Last year, in the Historical Center of Bucharest (where it's full of bars, pubs and coffee shops) almost everyone was out in a mask and most of the clubs held Halloween parties. Unfortunately, 90% of the chicks were dressed as bunnies and kittens. So much for scary!
Hopefully this year it'll be different. Also, I'm waiting for William to join the chat and tell me what's he doing, maybe we can organize something!

'Lo all =) Long time follower, first time poster here! To be absolutely honest, I've been checking Halloween.com for at least 8 years. But I was so bedazzled by all the orangey-blacky-punkiny Halloween goodness, I didn't realize until today that there's a forum here. My bad. Forgive a girl for being blinded by the shinies? =P

Welcome aboard, Draculaura. Hope you enjoy your time here.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.
