1. How many TOT'ers did everyone have?
160,

2. How many Pumpkins did you carve?
only 3. pathetic, I know.

3. Were you in costume this Halloween?
Nope

4. Did you attend or have a party? What were you dressed as?
Yes, I was the ghost of the Revolutionary War Soldier

5. In your area did you think people decorated more or less than previous years?
Less definitely, Less.

6. What was your favorite thing about Halloween 2007?
Have my daughter tell me she "Liked Halloween"

7. Have you started planning for next year?
Just a little, I have a few Ideas

Did I make anything really neat out of Sculpey clay this year? why YES!!!

Did I make some of the neatest friends on the net or anywhere else this year? why YES!!!!!!!

Did I get a whole bunch of neat halloween things this year from those friends and on your own? YES YES YES!!!!!

Another good thread idea! Hmmmm, answers to your questions....

1. TOT'er count--I couldn't keep up! But definitely in the #'s to rival yours, HH. Our 1st year here we ran out of candy at 272, seems like they've been about steady like that since. This year might've been a bit less.

2. Pumpkin count--only 2, even MORE pathetic!

3. In costume?--yes, as a Catholic school girl (trivia on Laurie, I actually WAS a Catholic school girl for most of K-8th...I modified the uniform slightly for Halloween, though )

4. Any parties?--no, had to work all weekend before..dressed as a cleaning woman, jeans and t-shirt.

5. Neighbor decoration?--'bout the same, only 2 houses less than previous years.

6. Favorite Halloween 2007 memory?--watching the kids completely ditch us to go running through people's yards in glee for candy and my son Dylan sticking right there when he didn't think he'd been given enough like, 'um, that's funny, where's the rest? Really, or I'll give ya a taste 'o me broad sword!' AND y'all, of course!!

7. Planning for next year?--not yet.

Not 160!! But I had quite a few...right up until 8:30 pm

Friends brought three over already carved. My husband carved one.

Yes, I was a "Dead Sox" player.

I had an open house Halloween night...with hot chili, nacho cheese dip and lots of munchies. See #3 for costume.

A bit more

6. What was your favorite thing about Halloween 2007?
Definitely all you fine folks at Halloween.com and seeing my family and friends enjoy my efforts.

Oh definitely! It's a Friday night next year and I want to have an actual party.

we had about 60 which is par for us here

None I am sorry to say I ran out of time

Yes!

I had a Halloween party, a Halloween dinner and a mini party on the 31st
I was a Victorian Lady in a Gothic sort of way

I would say Less, alot more houses were decorated the last two years

6. What was your favorite thing about Halloween 2007?
My wonderful Nephew who likes Halloween came over the day of my Party and said
what can I do for you and we decorated and cooked all afternoon.....He is 13 so it was an amazing gesture on his part!

7. Have you started planning for next year?
I have some abstract ideas......nothing really solid ....January is when I will really begin
thinking about themes

A footnote ......I feel that I had a better Halloween this year thanks to this Forum
to be able to talk to such talented and imaginative people is a blessing and the threads
that we had kept me going through the rough patches!

not many, i left a huge cauldron of candy on the porch while i took my little girl TOTing and almost all of it was still there when we got back.

i wanted to make a link costume but i never got around to it. next year, i think i want to make my own wench costume!

me and my sister had a get together at her house with our kids. she is the best at decorating! she loves halloween as much as we all do, but i can't convince her to be a part of this forum. i think she just doesn't have time. i took some pics of her great decorations, but i have to wait to get them developed then i'll post em.

i think that it was about the same, which there is actually quite a few who decorate!

6. What was your favorite thing about Halloween 2007?
halloween.com and decorating my front yard. it was my first time!

Sorry, I didn't go to the party with costume on myself, but I did do that at home. I am Grim Reaper.

I only have 4 houses that did decorate out there, well, sadly not so much houses around here do like Halloween!

Mostly TOTs got scared when first coming to our haunt home, funny thing when I looked at kids, they became panic!

Yepper's, well I would say in 1/2 costume, ran out of time to finish getting all dressed up, so I just ran with it. Did get to do my Queen of The Bats Idea, so went with one from a previous year, Dutchess of Darkness, although some TOT'ers called me a dark gothic witch

What was your favorite thing about Halloween 2007?

Well several things: all the friends I've made here on the forum, the Halloween Gift Exchange & Heart Strings Exchange, Chatting with all of you has been a big one getting up a few decorations, talking with the TOT'ers, halloween gift exchange shopping, really enjoyed shopping for others, playing my halloween tunes, sitting on my porch after it was all over taking in the night and watching my pumpkins glow until they burnt out. Hanging with my babies

Have a few ideas, but no offical planning for a while, but always thinking of ideas

I didn't bother dressing up fo my own party, but I went to another party with a group I go to. I was a gothic fairy.

No-one in my area decorates anymore

The outcome of my party was slightly better than last year's

I don't know if I will bother with a party next year, as hardly anyone bothers to show up. But if I do bother, I have a potential theme in mind: The Killer bar & grill (if you don't get the reference, it's fromthis movie.)

ooga_bogga hun don't give up on Halloween, you could be your areas Halloween Trend starter, every year has its slumps as many of us experience, but you can do it, be the leader of the pack and go nuts next year

Yes, my law school's Fall Ball. I was a pirate.

More. Four neighbors this year. I don't remember any last year.

Don't count, but a moderate amt. I had a huge cauldron full of candy, and about 1/4 of it left.

Yep, adult party the 27th, kids neighborhood party Halloween night. Madam Hooch.

1. How many TOT'ers did everyone have?

None, but that was to be expected, for several reasons:
a) I live in the UK and TOT isn't as popular over here yet
b) I live in a flat
c) You can't actually access my flat from the road
d) My buzzer doesn't work, so even if they did turn up, I wouldn't have heard them lol

2. How many Pumpkins did you carve?

4!!! I set a new record for myself. One of my party-goers brought a pumpkin with them, so in total there were 5 on my patio. I had to throw them all away today because they were mouldy

Of course!!!

4. Did you attend or have a party? What were you dressed as?

I attended and hosted a party. On Saturday 27th I went to my Mum's party dressed as Akasha (the Eqyptian vampire from "Queen of the Damned") and on Halloween itself I hosted my party at my flat dressed as Tia Dalma (the Voodoo Lady from "Pirates of the Caribbean").. it was hard work doing both costumes but well worth it

5. In your area did you think people decorated more or less than previous years?

Same as ever..... no one else decorated!

6. What was your favorite thing about Halloween 2007?

The old favourites... carving pumpkins, eating candy, watching all the old horror films, dressing up... and of course, the parties. They were both good but I loved mine especially because it was my first proper party in my flat and everyone had a good time. I loved hosting my Halloween Horror Movie Music Quiz because everyone got really into it

Oh yeah, you bet I have!!!! I have big ideas for the next party and I have big ideas for my costumes already
