Night watchman & goth girl prop build

Post by Scavenegrhaunt » Thu Sep 27, 2007 6:49 pm

hello all.

this week we took a break from the spooky town prop and started work on a few new things

in this one we are making a night watchman to go near the front door to light the way into the house. we stared with a chicken wire frame then covered it in duct tape. then we covered that in paper mache. the head is a foam head that we have had for awhile and we just added clay to it to make the face how we liked it. it was cool how it was but we wanted it to be more life like. the hands are made from wire formed into a basic shape and then DAS clay is put over that. The hands are not detailed yet but i took a picture of the thumb to show how it will be more life like when the whole hand is done. once everything is dry he will be dressed in a old torn up caretakers suit and hold a old lantern. i will post more pics as we progress. I did not plan to post pics of this prop so i did not take pics of the arms before covering them. i will take alot more pics of the rest of the build. the last pictures are of another prop that will be a very creepy little girl that will be in the corner of one of the rooms. in that pic you can see the duct tape step.

Wow, very cool. Keep 'um coming.
Because once you cross that bridge, my friend, the ghost is through, his power ends.
