Re: LITTLE HALLOWEEN COUNT DOWN
Happy little Halloween all!
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Me, my niece and my roommate partook of the zombie walk downtown yesterday then went to The Haunted Hotel. Great way to spend a Friday the 13th.

Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Re: LITTLE HALLOWEEN COUNT DOWN
Sorry I'm late to the party. Happy Belated Little Halloween, all. Hope your day was fun.
I had a friend over and we watched Trick r Treat, Sleepy Hollow, The Haunted History of Halloween and another DVD on hauntings that came with the set the Halloween DVD came in. It was a set released by the History Channel. So far I've watched Halloween history and the haunting DVD, I still have Poltergeist, the History of the Salem Witch Trials, and Vampire secrets to watch. Also watched Halloween videos on you tube and found this one:

It's a poem set to what looks like paper cut out style animation. It's nicely done, I recommend checking it out. I really wish I had written that poem.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

Re: LITTLE HALLOWEEN COUNT DOWN
Happy belated Little Halloween, folks. I would have posted last Friday but I'm still having a few problems with my hard drive. A new one is on order and it's only a matter of time.
I screened a little gem called "Tales from the Grave," and then I screened "Frankenstrin Meets the Wolf Man," followed up by the original "The Haunting." Before the movies, however, I put "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" into the DVD player. For the "haunted road trip," I drove my bike down a supposedly haunted stretch of old Route 66. I did bring my camera, but there was nothing worth taking photos of at all. It was just a very straight stretch of road surrounded by corn fields. Legend has it that the ghost of a 1959 Lincoln can be seen traversing that piece of road. I didn't see it, and it was hotter the hades to boot, so I went home and started screening horror movies. The local theatre had nothing to offer in the way of horror movies, so I dispensed with going out to the movies.

About Slither. If you love sick bizzare grotesqueness you'll love this one.

Re: LITTLE HALLOWEEN COUNT DOWN
Thanks, RisingDeadMan. I'll put it in my Netflix quey. At a glance, we get two "Little Halloweens" (Friday the 13ths) in 2013 Friday September 13th, and Friday December 13th. I'll post a new thread in December to let everyone know.
The trouble is it's going to be a bit tough celebrating Halloween in December. Perhaps I'll put my plastic jack o'lantern next to the Christmas tree, but I am going to observe "Little Halloween."
