Some Zombie Questions

Post by jadewik » Mon May 07, 2012 4:22 pm

I was trying to get someone to roll their eyes today, but they took all my questions seriously-- except the last one, which achieved the reaction I was going for. LOL... I had so much fun I thought I'd pose some of those questions here.

Zombies-- What do you think about changing their name to something that is more exciting... like "Cuddle-wumps"? I think it would be a good PR move for zombies

Also, what do you think of cross-species relationships between humans and zombies?
I think there's a movie about it coming out soon, but I can't remember the title.

Also... would you advocate zombie civil rights... and oppose the use of zombies as slaves or servants?

AND... if zombies made a play at world domination, do you think that the werewolves and vampires would side with them or against them?

I'm not sure anyone else considers these questions when they're planning their zombie attack stratagem.

I go by what the ' zombie survival guide' has to say on such matters.

Can't go wrong with the guide.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Consider my eyes rolled. If there's one thing I learned from The Walking Dead, you can't domesticate zombies. Unless your name is Michone.

As far as the zombie-human relationship goes, there was a character who gave it a go in the movie Fido. I can't recall what his zombie girlfriend's name was...

Zombies in general gross me out. I wouldn't be for civil rights. If I don't run from a zombie, I'm gonna aim for the head.

If they tried to take over the world, I think the vamps and werewolves would team up against them. Nobody (not even the undead) wants to be associated with something that rotting and mostly brain-dead.

And I don't think I could call a zombie a "cuddle-wump". I feel like a horse's a** just typing the word 8)

I don't think Vamps and Werewolves would side with zombies, but what if they were against them? Wouldn't they too turn into Zombies? Say a Werewolf tears into a Zombie, he too would be infected, or would they be intelligent enough for a head shot? I think not. Zombies may win over the world by shear numbers, unless they're weeded out.

Although I do think cuddle-wumps is a great PR move, besides all zombies want is hugs anyway

I'm gonna have to rent 'The Dead Undead' next time I'm near a Red Box. Netflix doesn't seem to carry it.

"A camping trip becomes a nightmare when the solitude of a peaceful mountain is shattered by the onslaught of a ravenous zombie horde. Fleeing to what appears to be a deserted town, the group discovers a secret Vampire community and fears that all hope is lost. But the vampires take the defenseless humans under their wing and an all-out war between vampires and zombies begins."

It was actually somewhat good! I liked the story, and if you're a fan of gunfire, this is for you. Brought to mind the movie 'Dog Soldiers' except the acting wasn't as good.

While a name change may be a good PR move for zombies I don't think "cuddle-wump" is the way to go.

The movie you're thinking about is https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... 5579,d.dmQ. Fortunetly that move seems to be more aimed as a comedy then something "serious" like Twilight. I don't think a zombie/human relationship would work unless perhaps they are more functional then most media representations make them out to be.

As for zombie rights if they can act like a respectable species and not go around eating peoples brains all the time then I would think about it.

This is a fine question you pose Jade. As we all know lycanthropes and vampires have despised each for as long as they've been in contact with each other. It would have to have gotten to a pretty serious level before those two groups teamed up. I also like XxTIMOxX's followup point of what happens in a battle between these groups? Can a zombie be made into a lycanthrope-zombie or vampire-zombie combo? Or even worse a lycanthrope-vampire-zombie super creature??? If so would any of these hybrids be able to spread their particular hybrid species???
