EMF Ghost Meters Detectors

Does anyone believe these things actually work? My oldest son downloaded a program onto his phone, (which review ratings were high), for it. He awoke me this morning, telling me that it had informed him that there was a homicide in the back yard of our building. He said that at 3am, it informed him of this and it also indicated a door knock and immediately followed by a door knock on the back yard door.

What are your thoughts?

Not sure...it was too early this morning. I was still in bed. It was kinda cool..
It was some kind of radar and he was explaining to me what the different colors that popped up, on the radar meant.

I'm a bit skeptical but intrigued.

I have 'ghost radar' and 'entity sensor' on my phone.

They look cool but they're just for fun.
