This is going to be different from our usual interactive stories, because Roleplay involves creating your own character(s) and controlling only those said characters.
The typical rules for Roleplaying are simple to follow, don't god mode, don't power play, and don't control another person's character without their permission. Magic is allowed, but that doesn't mean you can make your character immortal and god-like. Also, no killing another person's character without their permission. Try to keep it appropriate, and follow with the standard Halloween.com forum rules.
If you have any questions about how these rules work, don't hesitate to ask.
Most roleplays include a character profile, so before we begin anyone who is interested in joining this Roleplay should submit a character profile. I would suggest limiting it to two characters at a time, not a standard rule, but it can be confusing to juggle a bunch of characters.
The storyline goes as follows...your character somehow ends up in the Hallowed Dimention. It doesn't necessarily matter how they end up there, but they do. It used to be a world kind of like Halloween town in the Nightmare before Christmas...friendly...but with a fun scare around every corner. The natives enjoyed a Halloween-esque society where Halloween traditions were the norm, and not just part of a regular holiday.
And then...a mysterious evil took hold of the Hallowed Dimention...and turned it into a "Shadow Realm" and corrupted the natives turning them into flesh eating monsters.
Only by lighting the great Jack O' Lantern will extinguish the evil from this world and restore it to the way it was before.

I'll be adding Mau's character profile and how she got to the Hallowed Dimention/Shadow Realm pretty soon. Feel free to think up a good character idea to use for the RP.
