well, I dont know if this is the right place, I cant see a "props" area.....
I saw the wall sconce at
http://www.hauntershangout.com and had to have one.
I've started working on it, actually I am about half done, the original used electric flicker candles but mine will hold a PVC candle.
Heres pics of the arm, shackles, and candles so far

heres the candle, I guess the limit is 3......
the arm is a PVC "bone" with wire hanger fingers then I used newspaper to bulk it up and masking tape to form the wrinkles, knuckles, etc. I have put two coats of latex on the arm so far and I think I'll do two more.

hey adrian,
well, the roll of tape was about $3 and I havent used too much of that, the newspaper was free, the PVC was probably $1 only used about a foot of a 10ft piece, the latex was $12 for the jar but I havent used much so maybe another $0.50, the wire hanger was out of my wifes closet
, so really less then $4.50.
I still need to paint it so factor in paint costs.....

I bought the latex at Hobby Lobby, it's called Mold Builder (16oz), it was $12.99, Michael's carries it also. If you use it, buy a bunch of cheap brushes because you cant clean them in between uses. I bought a 50 pack of foam brushes for $5. I suspect bristled brushes work best but 50 for $5 is worth it.

I dont know anything about making molds or masks so I dont know if this latex is good for that or not, but it works good for coating newspaper and tape corpse arms

it seems very involved from what I have read, and I just dont think I could carve anything that looks like much of anything, but I'm pretty sure it would look scary

well, it's rubber so if you coat something with it, it's water proof as far as I know.
