...MARTHA STEWART'S HOLIDAY HALLOWEEN!!!!
This is the coolest Halloween periodical I've seen! There are so many neat and original ideas; too many to count!
It's a "Flip-Over" mag with 150 'Bad Things' on one side and 150 'Good Things' on the other.
Martha is made up as a "Glampire" on the 'Bad Things' side and as a "Goddess" on the 'Good Things side.

There are cut-outs; patterns; recipies and so many clever and new ideas, I know all of you will want this!

Things that caught my eye....
BAD THINGS SIDE:
I like the bats and rats ideas on pages 24 & 25.
The hanging turnips on page 31.
And the Spiderweb Eggs on page 45.

On the GOOD THINGS SIDE:
The pumpkin ice bucket on page 20.
The ghosty mashed potatoes on page 35.
and c'mon... Isn't little "Cold-y Locks" on page 46 the cutest thing you've ever seen!!!!!

I so love this, I know I'll be refering to it time and time again for years to come!!!!

I was actually a little disapointed with her Mag this year, they have been better in the past. I thought the Better Homes and Garden and Woman's Day were a bit better. I do like Martha's spider sac idea though *shivers*

I buy every mag that has Halloween on the cover. I am nuts, but they give me so many ideas.

Me too, SLV! I buy everything I see with fall or Halloween covers, and I have a huge amount of magazines from the past few years that I save also. I gotta say, I loved the Martha Stewart one this year, it was a lot of her best stuff from the past and some super cool new stuff. I am so stoked about the black vodka for my wedding I can hardly sit still!

I have piles and piles of every magazine imaginable...the only common denominator is that they all had a Halloween cover

Speaking of the Martha mag, last night I went and bought some of the black vodka and some OJ and some rasperry schnapps, and experimented for drinks for my wedding, and I ordered a case of the Blavod. It looks so freaking awesome, I'm going to use red sugar for the rims and make twisted screwdrivers and berry scary martinis.

That sounds really good, I'm sure it will look really neat too!

How did the drinks turn out? Did the drink end up all black?

Womans' Day!! I shoud have wrote that down...I searched store after store looking for a Halloween mag. called Woman's world! d-uh!

Bought Martha's mag and LOVE it! There is so much I want to do but my fav. are the spider egg sacs, (screen) porch web and the boiled eggs!!
I love the rats too and the little black bags (made to look like tombstones)...couldn't find any anywhere!

Black vodka??? Now THAT would look cool on the 'Potions class' bar in the glow-in-the-dark shot glasses, wouldn't it???
