You can make your dolls pretty creepy for very little $$$$. You can tea stain the clothing then abuse the heck out of it. Take sandpaper to the clothes, leave them outside for days, drive over them with your car - whatever.

As for the dolls themselves you can just repaint their faces. Latex paint should work for a quick fix. Make the eyes evil or blacken them out. Tease their hair, sculpt horn and/or fangs and glue them on. Take a few dolls apart and spread their limbs around. Have fun

I posted another post under Coffin? Which I made one out of card board boxes. I bought an entertainment center last year and it came with a bunch of boxes & styrofaom inside( you can get styrofoam at home depot) and I used a turkey carver (electric, works awesome but messy) to cut out a mummy shape. I wanted it to be thick so I cut out a few more and hot glued them together let them dry and carved out a better shape for the head and then cut pieces for arms and shoulders and glued them on. Then I put on a cheap mummy mask on head and stuffed to shape with grocery bags ( I also put some of those blinking spooky eyes for your bushes under the mask). I took some of those cheap skeleton gloves from Walgreens/CVS and ripped the skeleton part off and hot glued them to styrofoam. Then I took a white sheet and soaked in coffee in my bathtub and then let dry. Ripped it up and wrapped and hot glued onto foam. I also wrapped in some of that cheap spooky fabric from halloween stores. Then I spray painted it a little to look old and put him in the coffin. Styrofoam is an easy way to make people. You can spray paint on it but go lightly because the foam will melt. GOOD LUCK!!!
