Philips Hue light bulbs

I got me some of those color changing lightbulbs and I love them. I'm
thinking of heading out and buying a couple matching lightstrips for my
desk. Maybe get a flood light to light up a wall. Best Buy had them on
sale last week.
Last weekend someone mentioned FXX was doing a Simpsons Halloween
marathon so I watched them on my other monitor and changed the color
of the lights to something more appropriate.
I made the colors darker after I took the picture and it was perfect. You
can see my housemates, Yorick and Bones in the background. Yorick is the
one waving to the camera. Such a ham.
These bulbs have a lot of potential for quickly adding festive colors to
your house, not to mention the abilities to set timers, save scenes,
control the lights when you are away, and you can control them with your
voice through Alexa or Siri.

Are the colors set or is it the full spectrum?

Full color, anything you can imagine. Or combination of
colors if you have multiple lights. Just slide your finger
over the color picker in the app and choose a color and
brightness. These are not a cheap date though. The girl
at Best Buy said if you have an Amazon Echo Plus, you
don't need the Hue hub. Save $55. Wish I would have
known that before I bought the starter pack.

We have these in my house and they are amazing! They are definitely a game changer for Halloween decorating.

We have a bunch too and they are great. I just got one of the outdoor motion sensors to try.

I was thinking about replacing all the florescent tubes in my 'man cave' with blacklights for October, and hanging some decorations that react to the UV light they give off.

Forget the black lights Mike! Hue is the only way to go. I found an app that flashes my lights with my baseball teams colors every time they score.

GOOD GRIEF CHARLIE BROWN!! How much did it cost you to have all the electrics in your house wired so those lights would flash like that? That looked like your house was haunted or possessed.
